How To Use Webcam ParcelGuard

1. Introduction

How can you ensure the security of your parcel deliveries?
Webcam ParcelGuard allows you to record packing and return processes using your webcam as proof for dispute resolution. It works with Order Fulfillment Assistant and Marketplace Order Return Management to capture images and videos, which are saved to the local PC.


2. Setup Webcam Parcelguard

Step 1: Navigate to Orders > Fulfillment > ParcelGuard.

Step 2: Click Manage on Webcam ParcelGuard.

Step 3: Toggle on the Status of the Order Fulfillment Assistant and the Marketplace Order Return to record the packing and return process.

1. Automatically start video recording when scanning a package: If the button is disabled, you need to press F2 to manually start the video recording on the Order Fulfillment Assistant page.

2. Automatically save media and send images after scanning a new package: Enabling the button will automatically save your media or images to your local PC.

3. Automatically start video recording when scanning a package: If the button is disabled, you need to press F2 to manually start the video recording on the Marketplace Return Order Management page.

Step 4: Once the settings are configured, click Save.


3. Record Orders Using Order Fulfillment Assistant

Step 1: Navigate to Orders > Fulfillment > Order Fulfillment Assistant.

Step 2: You will see a webcam pop-up.

📌Note: For the first-time users, you might see an error message from the webcam pop-up. To resolve this, please follow the steps to allow camera access to this page. 
1: Click the View Site Information button on the search bar > click Site Settings Arrow. 2. Click Privacy and Security > change Camera Permission to Allow.

Step 3: Scan the order you wish to process > use the provided Keyboard Shortcuts to take packing photos, and start recording.

📌Note: You can only take a maximum of 3 photos.

Step 5: Once the photo and video are recorded, you can review them and click Save. The media will be saved in the local PC.


4. Record Orders Using Marketplace Order Return Management

Step 1: Navigate to Apps > Marketplaces > Marketplace Order Return Management.

Step 2: You can scan the parcel’s tracking number or directly click on the Order ID.

Step 3: You will see a webcam pop-up to record the activities.

📌Note: For the first-time users, you might see an error message from the webcam pop-up. To resolve this, please follow the steps to allow camera access to this page. 
1: Click the View Site Information button on the search bar > click Site Settings Arrow. 2. Click Privacy and Security > change Camera Permission to Allow.

Step 4: You can use the provided Keyboard Shortcuts to take return order photos and start recording.

📌Note: You can only take a maximum of 3 photos.

Step 4: Once the photo and video are recorded, you can review them and click Save. The media will be saved in the local PC.
