1. Introduction
Atome Singapore is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform that allows users to split their purchases into interest-free installments. Thus, buyers will be able to enjoy the benefits of owning a relatively expensive good while gradually paying for it with their future income.
📌Note: Make sure that you have a registered account with Atome Singapore as you will need the API Key and Password to proceed with the integration. If you do not have an Atome Singapore account yet, please send an email to merchant@atome.sg and submit your account application.
2. Set Up Atome Payment Gateway
Step 1: Navigate to Settings on the sidebar menu > Payments.
Step 2: Click on + Add Payment Method button > select Atome Singapore > Add Payment Method.
Step 3: Fill in the Atome Singapore details as shown.
1. Display Name: The payment name to display in the Payment Method during the checkout process. 2. API Key*: API Key that given by AtomeSG 3. Password*: Merchant Secret that given by AtomeSG 4. Description: Extra information to be shown to the customer during checkout. 5. Customer Group: The Customer Group that is applicable for this payment method (if no selection it will apply to all customer groups). 6. Minimum Order Amount: The order amount that needs to be reached to use this payment method. 7. Currencies: Select the currencies that are applicable to this payment method. (if no selection it will apply to all curencies). 8. Display Atome Message: The installment price will appear underneath the original price when the status is Toggle On.
Step 4: You may set extra transaction charges applied to the customer at the Payment Settings (optional).
Step 7: Once all the settings are done, click Add.
Step 8: Make sure the Atome Singapore status is enabled for it to appear on your checkout page.
4. Test Checkout Via Atome Singapore (From Customer Perspective)
Step 1: It is highly recommended that you test checkout on your Webstore to ensure that the payment method is working as expected.
Step 2: If the page redirects to the Atome Singapore payment page, your integration with Atome Singapore is successful.
